This is a second time I come to this hotel. First of all, I believe that this idea of combining apartment and hotel room that Residhome aparthotel uses is actually a great idea! You have literally everything in your room that usually people have in apartment (kitchen, microwave, regulated heating, glasses, spoons, knives, forks, fridge, etc. - I even do not remember everything). I personally do not use much of that, but it is clear that people would love that. For me personally, it is very useful that they have a safe box in the room, where you can safely leave your valuables. The personal is just great, very polite and helpful, I am very much thankful for all of them! I was stupid enough to make an error and to mistakenly block my safe box because of misuse, but they came and rescued me immediately :) The breakfast is nice and tasty, and I find it very nice that on every table there are like greeting cards with a theme "Did you know?" that tells you nice stories about different food and drinks, for example, about coffee. And I also would like to mention that the place itself is very nice. Green, quiet, charming, relaxing. The hotel is just at the edge of a real forest! It was very nice to walk and run there (and you can do it absolutely safe. The chance of being eaten there by a wild wolf in very low. Trust me). The town itself is very charming, a lot of green scenes, river (called Yvette, that's why the name of the town), bridges, etc. It is quite good that you can stay in such environment and enjoy the calmness of a country side, and at the same time you can take RER B train (around 15 min slow walk from the hotel) and go to Paris within about 30 min, so Bures-sur-Yvette is actually a very close suburb of Paris. And do not forget to enjoy the local boulangerie (bakery) - there are at least two of them in the town.

Quiet and safe location, not far from RER B Bures-sur-Yvette. Good for visits to the Paris-Saclay University. If you want to visit the "Plateau" part of the campus, be prepared to climb the hill (about 70 m of elevation, through the woods) but there is a staircase, so no need to be afraid of the weather and of muddy paths, and the staircase and the walkways are iluminated after dark. The room included a small kitchen, fridge, microwave, sink and utensils, so it was very convenient for self-catering.

It was a conference trip with a hotel chosen to be close to the Saclay University. I liked the area around (with deer in the forrest)! Very quiet and nice. The hotel room met my expectations, nice bed, nice kitchenette with all the utensils needed. If I would need to visit the same University center I will choose this hotel again :)

Front desk syaff was always available, multilingual, and very helpful. Our two room suite was larger than expected and well equipped. Everything was well maintained in our room and in the facility. Appreciated having a chocolate gluten free rice cake option at most breakfasts.

The staff were kind, thoughtful and accommodating to our needs. The location was great, and the surroundings very peaceful. We were delighted to see the breakfast was organic and the coffee fairly traded, very rare in hotels these days.AkA
